Guided Walks

Our guided walks are designed around you.

Where do you want to go?

Our guides have experience of walking in many areas of England, Wales, Scotland and even across Ireland. But we also love exploring new areas, too. Choose one of our well-troden favourites or request something besoke to you. Tell us where you want to go and we will do the legwork to plan your walk and make it happen for you.

It's more than just a journey...

Our guides love to share their passion for the outdoors with you. Your walk can be themed around your interests. We can tell you about the geography, the history, the geology, the flora and fauna or the wildlife. We can explore the literary or film connections. We can build in moments for mindfulness and reflection. Or we can teach you navigation skills so you can confidently lead your own walks.

Well-Troden Favourites...

Let us introduce you to one of mid-Wales' gems. From hidden waterfalls, to the remote wildness of the green desert and Cambrian mountains, there is something here for everyone. Stories of dam-busting bombs, submerged farmsteads, industrial tycoons imortalised in stone are all yours to discover. This is an area that offers opportunities for all fitness levels and access requirements, so get in touch to plan your adventure with us!

Mid-Wales - Elan Valley and Llanwrthwl Common

Venture into the heart of mid-Wales for sights very few people see! Plynlimon, or Pumlumon in Welsh, offers five summits, the source of three rivers, multiple waterfalls and acres of lush forestry to explore. There'll be something suitable for everyone in this region, from the highest Cambrian mountain, to accessible walks around Hafren. Spectacular wildlife includes the Clywedog opsreys, and many other raptors can be seen circling the hills and valleys.

Where the White Peak meets the Dark Peak, you'll find opportuities galore for exploring high and low. Challenge yourself to scramble up to the Kinder Plateau or take the less strenuous route. Test your navigation skills, knowing you have back-up, or just enjoy the views while being led, knowing you won't get lost! The upland geology and ecology of this area is unique, so there's plenty to learn and appreciate on your adventures should you wish.

Step into another age and time, whether by exploring the history of Hartington, a quintisential English village, or by adventuring into the nearby dales. You'll feel a real dislocation from your norm, so grab the chance to leave your problems and worries behind as you absorb the beauty of this gorgeous part of the English countryside.

Whether you've set your sights on completing the Fan Dance, want to explore Pen Y Fan from a new direction or would like to avoid the well trodden paths and explore the less frequented mountains and paths of the area, we've got you covered. Your route can stay low, as you enjoy paths like the Taff Trail, with its rivers, waterfalls and reservoirs, you can summit more remote tops such as Fan Frynich, or take on the big 4 of the Horseshoe Ridge Walk!

South Wales - Pen Y Fan and beyond

Ah, we love the Lakes!! Mostly we like getting to the top of a mountain and then making the effort worth it by planning a walk that makes the most of the height we've gained! This is the area we return to time and time again, so rather than tell you our favourite bits (though we could!) we'd rather you told us your aims and we helped you achieve them. Whether you're peak bagging, trig bagging or want to enjoy a good lake or river walk, we will happily share our passion for the Lakes with you!
